Michael Powers at the Tulalip

Well it was quite the night at the Tulalip Casino at Randy Oxford's All Star Jam with Michael Powers opening.  Awesome on his frame guitar with his unique style, which makes all sorts of sounds besides guitar.  Boy could he jam on it.
 
Son Jack Jr seduced the audience with his old time blues.  With his vocals and instrument he's a one man act which is simple, sofisticated, brash and confidently intoxicating. 

I heard Geoffrey Castle and Eric Roberts are recording a Celtic Christmas CD, coming out soon I hope.  Those two together should be outstanding.

We had a great night of music with many fantastic musicians.  Hope to see you next Tuesday with Free Reign opening the night.
