New Cruising for Blues Projects
I have a few new projects in the works associated with www.cruisingforblues.com and www.galaxyofblues.com.
I’ve made a classified ad page for local blues related needs. Just another place for venues, studios, musicians, and anyone to get the word out about their services, band, CD's, instruments sales, etc. These are free to musicians.
Also in the works is a local Northwest Washington venue and talent page. Help me out and send in your info to debra@cruisingforblues.com. For venues please send your address, phone and website. Talent send your phone and web address. These will be added to a page designated for each at www.cruisingforblues.info and linked to the sidebar of the Cruisingforblues.com blog.
Cruising the web for blues, I found lots of sites, local directories, venue specific directories, and partial blues directories. I would like to build as comprehensive as I can, a world wide blues directory of websites. At the moment I'm collecting blues society websites, venues, fan pages and blues related websites. This will always be a work in progress, so when I get a few pages going I'll get it online as soon as possible, collecting and updating along the way. Look for Galaxyofblues.com to debut this winter '08.
I also wanted to thank everyone who receives my weekly Cruisin' for a Blues In e-newsletter and sends their comments and support to this project. Cruisingforblues.com gets thousands of visitors a month from all over the world and has been bringing local blues to readers online for one year and eight months.
