I found out about Hans just a short while ago. I was saddened by the news of his accident and then I remembered the good times we had touring from Everett Washington to Montreal Canada in 1968 - 69. I talked with Lyn (his wife) on the phone and found out that he is in nomination status for entry into the Blues Hall of Fame. When we toured together he was a super lead guitarist and tho' the band I feel I still owe him and all the members of the band something for their efforts so I am endeavoring to create the website tnes25.com in memory of the band and the members. Since those times I have performed music with different instrumentalists, singers and drummers and none of the guitarists ever seem to have what Hans had when it came to being creative.. There is a great big hole in my heart that only Hans could fill. And we didn't even do the blues Jimmy Winkler classified the music as being psychedelic funk.

Jesus Mary Mother of Christ. Is this the best we can come up with? Best Blues Venue: Monahan's? Salmon Bay Eagles? Come on, you HAVE to get out more. My God. In all of Washington, much less Seattle, these were the best venues, and compared to the Hwy 99 that made the roster. Big freaking wow.

On to the best of the best. Shall I say it? No. I can't even begin to voice my utter and complete disappointment in what seems to be flagrant self promotion. You see it only takes a few to lessen the glory of truely gifted artists.

Sorry folks, I ain't impressed.

Hello,
We are truly running hard to kick off the Red Hotz 2007 season now. How are you? Totally love the blog Deb.

I'd love you to be there for the Red Hotz 2nd attempt to be sent to Memphis for the 2008 IBC. We are competing in Tacoma on the 4th of July and so far the South Sound Blues Society has selected us as the high score finalists (ahead by 11pts).
There is very stiff competition on this day though; and the total show on that day will be off the hook. Hope you can be there.

Also the Red Hotz are traveling to play in Europe this September beginning with one of two shows on the East coast on the 20th and returning October 5th. Too exciting and just pinching myself as I write.
Also i saw your request for WBS ads. i hope to have an ad in for the August issue.

Well i am at work and have to run. Thanks for all of the great show info from your blues outings.

Suze
theRedHotz
